You can still complete your 'Mile for Mind'

Participants from Ipswich Town Community Trust's disability programme completed a 'Mile for Mind' at Portman Road as part of Mental Health Awareness Week.

All EFL clubs up and down the country have been encouraging people of all ages and abilities to do a 'Mile for Mind' to continue raising vital awareness of mental health.

Six members of the Community Trust's disability programme walked around the perimeter of the Portman Road pitch three times to complete the mile this afternoon.

It's not too late to get involved and complete your 'Mile for Mind.' With one in four of us experiencing a mental health problem each year, the EFL and Mind is asking for every one person taking part in ‘Mile For Mind’ to nominate a further three friends, family members or colleagues to join in.

The EFL and Mind ‘On Your Side’ charity partnership launched ahead of the 2018/19 Season with the aim of raising awareness of mental health, improving the approach to mental health in football and to raise funds to deliver life-changing support. Since then, the partnership has successfully delivered award-winning campaigns in the fight for better mental health within football.
