"We want to go far in this competition. We need to get a win tomorrow night"

Cameron Burgess isn’t taking the Papa John’s Trophy lightly, as the defender aims to progress to the last 16 with Town.

The centre-half spoke to the Club website ahead of Arsenal U21s visiting Portman Road tomorrow evening.

"It’s a cup competition, you have to beat whoever is put in front of you, and we want to get through to the next round," Cam said.

"If you win this game, you’re only a few games away from Wembley, so we’ll give it everything we’ve got."

Cam insists the team is under no illusions about the threat the young Gunners can bring to the occasion.

"We’ve done our preparation," he added.

"We have looked at the clips of them playing and planned properly on the training pitch.

"It’s just the same as any other game. We know what we’re up against, so we’ll be ready to go.

"We want to go far in this competition, so we need to get a win tomorrow night."
