Would you like to help improve the matchday experience in the FanZone?

The Club is looking to hire matchday staff to work in the FanZone with a focus on the matchday experience.

Successful candidates will be required to work all home matches, including midweek matches, and manage activities taking place in the FanZone on a matchday alongside staff from Ipswich Town Community Trust, with a big focus on engaging with young supporters.

The FanZone was launched in 2016 and has been a big success winning EFL awards for the ‘Best Family Zone’, and the Club are keen to continue building the FanZone as the ultimate pre-match venue for supporters of all ages.

Essential:

  • Well-mannered and polite when communicating with supporters
  • Experience of working with children
  • A strong communicator who is approachable
  • Organisational skills
  • Enhanced DBS

Desirable:

  • FA level one or above coaching qualifications
  • A strong knowledge of Ipswich Town and the FanZone
  • Experience of delivering in a school or coaching environment
  • First Aid qualification

Hours of work for a Saturday 3pm kick-off, will be 11.00am until 3.00pm. This includes setting the FanZone up ready for supporters to arrive at midday when the FanZone opens.  Midweek match hours will be 5.30pm to 8.00pm.

Zero hour contract as home matches are subject to change.

The Club is also looking for bar and waiting staff to join the matchday hospitality team for the 2021/2022 season.

We are looking for friendly faces, with a can-do attitude and the skills to provide excellent all-round customer service; making every matchday a unique and memorable experience for our clients.

Candidates must be enthusiastic, proactive and comfortable working as part of a team. Candidates must also adhere to company policy guidelines. 

Some experience is preferred but is not essential, as full training is provided.
