Winger set for weekend return
Sone Aluko will be back available for Town's League One fixture against Crewe, Paul Cook has confirmed.
The winger was absent from Tuesday night's defeat to Rotherham following the unexpected passing of his father.
Sunday's meeting with The Alex is the first of three home games inside a week - Arsenal U21 visiting Portman Road in the Papa John's Trophy on Wednesday (1 December) before the Blues take on Barrow in the second round of the FA Cup on Saturday, 4 December.
The first of those opponents, Crewe, come into the match sitting bottom of the League One table.
Paul was full of praise, though, for the playing style they have built over a number of years as well as current manager, David Artell.
"Sone will be with us this weekend. He’s back in training this morning," said Town's boss.
"We want to put three wins on the board for our fans. We want to be in the next round of the FA Cup, go through in the Papa John’s Trophy and move a bit higher in the League table.
"Let’s start by trying to win the first on Sunday, though, against Crewe.
"They always have a really good style of play. It’s their culture, habits and trust. The manager has done a magnificent job with promotion to League One. They will come here with no fear.
"David is a good guy, he’s got good guys around him and they’ve got every chance of getting out of their current situation."
