PAUL ON OLDHAM TIE

16 November 2021

"We will make a couple of changes to the team but it will be in no means to weaken it"

Paul Cook says that his team selection tonight will once again reflect the magnitude of the FA Cup.

Town travel to Oldham this evening for a first round replay having been held to a 1-1 draw by the Latics at Portman Road earlier this month.

The Blues made just one change, which was forced through injury, for the original tie from the 4-1 victory at Wycombe on the previous Tuesday night, demonstrating Paul's respect for both Oldham and the competition.

"We’ll be doing our best to try and get through," Town's boss told iFollow Ipswich.

"It’s a great game for us. We will make a couple of changes to the team but it will be in no means to weaken it in relation to the competition.

"For any Ipswich fans who are thinking of travelling up to Oldham, the team will reflect the competition."

Supporters who haven't already secured tickets will be able to pay cash on the turnstiles at Boundary Park this evening.

Entry is priced at £10 for adults and £5 for over 65s or U21.
