SAM | WE LET EVERYONE DOWN TONIGHT

23 November 2021

"They then sat 10 men behind the ball and were incredibly difficult to break down. They're very good at what they do"

Sam Morsy said he had no complaints about the result following Town's defeat to Rotherham.

The Blues struggled to create clear-cut chances in front of the Portman Road faithful, with The Millers punishing the hosts with a goal in each half.

"We can't have any complaints. It was a tough night," Town's skipper told iFollow Ipswich.

"The game was even to start off with, but we gave them an easy goal, although it was a good strike.

"They then sat 10 men behind the ball and were incredibly difficult to break down. They're very good at what they do.

"We got beaten by the better team on the night, and we let everyone in the stadium down.

"There's no magic pill to fix things like this, it's just hard work. We'll look back at the game and then try to win against Crewe on Sunday."
