Town host the Latics on Saturday afternoon, with kick-off at 3pm.
The Blues will be looking to progress to the second round having exited the competition at home to Portsmouth at the first round stage last season, while Oldham bowed out in the third round following defeat away to Bournemouth.
On league form, Paul Cook's side head into the clash on the back of a 4-1 victory at Wycombe Wanderers on Tuesday, while Oldham were beaten by Swindon Town last time out.
