"The crowd always sing my name and I really appreciate that. I'm so pleased to give something back to them"
Bersant Celina dedicated his late goal and today's win to the Portman Road faithful.
The Kosovan winger, who came on as a substitute in the 65th minute, tucked in from Janoi Donacien's cut-back to seal a 2-1 win over Fleetwood Town.
"It was a great moment," Santi told iFollow Ipswich.
"The most important thing was that we got the three points, so I'm very happy.
"When I came on I found the game a bit difficult. They were chasing the equaliser and got it, but we stayed calm and knew we would get a good chance - thankfully I took it.
"This is a special stadium to score at, and obviously it's a little while since I had last scored here. A fan ran on and I gave him a hug!
"That's back to back wins now and I think that's important. It gives us momentum ahead of a tough away game next week, and it shows we are capable of winning game after game.
"The crowd always sing my name and I really appreciate that. I'm so pleased to give something back to them. That one is certainly for them."
