Centre-half up for the challenge against former side
Cameron Burgess said his former side, Accrington Stanley, will be 'right at it' when Town visit The Wham Stadium this weekend.
The central defender spent one season, and two games at the start of this campaign, with Stanley before completing a switch to the Blues, where he has signed a three-year deal, in August.
John Coleman's side have had a mixed start to the season with four wins from 10 games, and have gone through a tough spell in recent weeks having not won in their last four outings.
Meanwhile, Town, fresh off the back of a 6-0 drubbing against Doncaster at Portman Road on Tuesday, head to Lancashire full of optimism.
"I'm really looking forward to the match," 25-year-old Cameron said.
"They've had a fairly good start to the season, similar to last season when I was there, and they'll certainly be right at it.
"Some of their lads have been emphasising the importance of having a good home record, so we'll be heading up there trying to spoil the party.
"It'll be good to see some old friends that I haven't seen since I left, but the main focus is on the game, of course, and we're up for the challenge."
