GEORGE ON ARGYLE ASSESSMENT

29 October 2021

"They’re top of the league and we’re a team in form, so it should be a good contest"

George Edmundson expects Saturday’s away fixture at Plymouth to be an entertaining game.

Following an impressive start to the season, Argyle sit top of the League One table having remained unbeaten since an opening day defeat at Rotherham.

Town, meanwhile, come into the game having won four of their last five games in all competitions, drawing the fifth.

George predicts that the two teams will serve up a good contest in front of a bumper crowd at Home Park, over 1,500 Town fans making the long trip to Devon.

"It should be a good game," the centre-back told the Club website.

"They’re top of the league and we’re a team in form, so it should be a good contest. It’ll be a hard game for both teams so it’ll be interesting to see what happens.

"They’re a good passing team who play good football and are flying at the minute. We’ve had a good week of training and we’re excited for the game, too."
