Defensive duo on U's clash

Matt Penney and Cameron Burgess have given their thoughts ahead of tomorrow's trip to Cambridge United.

Town head to Abbey Stadium looking to build on a home win against Shrewsbury, while United drew away to Crewe last time out.

On Saturday's test, the pair said:

Matt: "I think we know what we're in for tomorrow. There is a confidence amongst the group, though, and we want to kick on. It's one of those where the fans will try to get on top of you, but we have 2,500 supporters going and they'll make their voice heard. Momentum is absolutely massive in football so if we can get back to back wins then it will really help us going into a busy period.

"We're developing some consistency as well. We had a tough trip to Accrington but we're forming partnerships around the pitch. Consistency in any team is key, so the fact we're learning more and more about each other is helping. The back four selection has been quite consistent, but we also know pushing for a spot and that will be keen to impress if selected. We're all working really hard and I do think the chemistry is improving."

Cam: "Obviously we're looking to build on a win last weekend, and I think it's really important we try to get something going. The aim is to build momentum and to do that you need to get points on the board. There are a lot of fixtures coming up and we've learned already that there are no easy games. It's cliché but we have to go one at a time.

"Saturday will be tough but we'll be geared up for it and hungry to put in a good performance and get the three points in front of our travelling fans."
