"We'll do our final preparations today and hopefully we can secure a positive result at Portman Road tomorrow"
Paul Cook says he is expecting a tough test against Fleetwood tomorrow at Portman Road.
Town host Simon Grayson's Cod Army in a 3pm kick-off, with the Blues looking to record back to back victories after Tuesday's emphatic win at Fratton Park.
The Town boss spoke about the lads' recovery and preparation going into tomorrow's clash, and also the consistency of partnerships on the pitch that he is looking for in his side.
Paul told iFollow Ipswich: "Our lads have rested up well since Saturday, we'll do our final preparations today and hopefully we can secure a positive result at Portman Road tomorrow.
"When you have a result as positive as we did on Tuesday night, I think the partnerships will look good, and the most important thing for us is that those partnerships become consistent and that we take them into the game tomorrow."
The Blues' opponents are currently sitting 20th in League One, and have been in good form of late with just one defeat in their last nine League games.
"Fleetwood are a really good side," Paul added.
"They play with freedom, a lot of spirit and they're well coached by Simon.
"It'll be a real test tomorrow. I think it'll be a good, open game. Fleetwood get a lot of men forward in attack, and they're playing well. They had a disappointing result midweek which was their first defeat for a while."
