"That connection between the players, the staff and the supporters is massive"

Paul Cook has stressed the importance of the Club and its fans being as one, should Town wish to be successful this season.

Portman Road's biggest crowd of the 2021/22 campaign urged the Blues onto a late equaliser against Sheffield Wednesday last weekend, before over 18,000 fans enjoyed the comprehensive 6-0 win against Doncaster in midweek.

The away support has been similarly impressive, Town being backed by sold out away ends at Burton, Cheltenham and Lincoln while fans have snapped up just under 2,500 tickets for the trip to Cambridge later this month.

"On Tuesday night we gave our supporters a glimpse of what we want," Paul told iFollow Ipswich.

"We need their support. We’ve had it and felt it at Portman Road and at every single away stadium we’ve been to.

"That connection between the players, the staff and the supporters is massive. We can only do this together, and together hopefully we will."

Around 700 tickets from Town's 1,500 allocation for tomorrow's trip to Accrington will be available on the day at The Wham Stadium with no price increase.

Tickets are priced at £20 for adults, £15 for 65+/students, £10 for U18 and £5 for U12.
