TOWN SUPPORT KIT OUT THE NATION CAMPAIGN

1 September 2021

The Club is proud to be supporting BBC's Kit out the Nation campaign in collaboration with BBC Radio Suffolk.

Kit Out the Nation is a month long Make a Difference campaign aimed at taking in and distributing unwanted, good condition sports kit to children and teenagers who need it. It will mirror the ‘Give a Laptop’ campaign, working with partners around the country.

The campaign was largely launched on the back of a report published by The Department for Culture, Media and Sport Select Committee in July 2021, where they said data from Sport England showing 100,000 fewer children met the recommended level of activity in 2020 than in 2019 was "of significant concern."

The Club is donating a number of old kits from the Academy and from seasons gone by to the cause. There will be a large container in the FanZone for our matches against Sheffield Wednesday [25 August] and Doncaster Rovers [28 August] whereby supporters can donate their own kit to those in need.

If you're unable to drop off at either of those games, the below dates are available for supporters to drop their kit off:

All drop-offs are to be made at the maingate on Constantine Road between 9am and 5pm (Please speak to a member of staff on the gate)
