There's still time to donate

The Club are proud to have joined the nation in taking part in Macmillan's Coffee Morning.

An annual occasion that began in 1990, the day sees groups of people come together across the country to share a hot drink and donate to Macmillan Cancer Support.

In 2020, the event raised over £10 million to support the life-saving and life-changing work that the charity carries out.

Town's first-team players and staff at Playford Road have joined the 'World's biggest coffee morning' - helping to raise further vital funds.

Asked how important it is for the Club to support organisations such as Macmillan, Conor Chaplin said: "I think it’s huge. We are a team and community that are keen to get involved with things like this as a football club. That’s something that’s important.

"There’s not too many people who haven’t been impacted by cancer and what Macmillan try to help with. Everyone has been touched by that in some way or another, whether that’s in their individual life or through family and friends. It’s important us to do our bit in the community and help organisations such as Macmillan."
