"I'm really happy to be part of that and the style here really suits me"
Wes Burns has emphasised the importance of relationship building in the Town team this season.
With 19 new arrivals in the summer transfer window, the Blues are yet to name the same starting XI in any of the five League games so far this campaign.
Wes, who usually operates down the right side, has played in three of those matches, and scored his first goal for the Club against AFC Wimbledon after latching on to a through ball from Kane Vincent-Young.
Speaking to the matchday programme for this weekend's fixture with Bolton Wanderers at Portman Road, the 26-year-old discussed the bonds being built within the squad.
"It's not like two or three players have arrived and need to settle in, it's a completely new squad," Wes said in his feature interview.
"The gaffer has mentioned it in interviews and it's certainly a factor. It's a case of building relationships between players.
"It'll take time to build those partnerships but the more we play together, the stronger we will get.
"We’ve also had some quite unfortunate timings with injuries so people have been dipping in and out of the team. The squad is where it is now, and it's a very strong one at that.
"I'm really happy to be part of that and the style here really suits me. We want to play pressing and attacking football which I love. Once we get that first win, I think we could be a real force."
The full interview with Wes features in this weekend's matchday programme, which is priced at £3.50 and is available from Planet Blue [open from 10am Saturday morning], or the blue programme kiosks dotted around the stadium [open from 1.15pm].
