CHAPPERS COLLECTS COMMUNITY AWARD AT END OF SEASON DINNER

With Thomas awarded for Town Women

Conor Chaplin collected The Philip Hope-Cobbold Award for Service to the Community at this evening's End of Season Dinner.

The award, which has been renamed this season having been previously called the Community Champion award, is given to the player who has gone above and beyond in an effort to represent the Club in the local community.

Conor, who is a Trustee on the board for the Ipswich Town Community Trust, has carried out significant work in the community this season including becoming an ambassador for Rainbow Tractors, the Club's LGBTQ+ supporters group.

Natasha Thomas, who is also a Trustee for the Community Trust, won The Philip Hope-Cobbold Award for Service to the Community for Town Women.

Both players were in attendance at Milsoms Kesgrave Hall for the End of Season Dinner which was hosted by former Blue Simon Milton.

Mark Ashton welcomed guests before conducting a speech, with Kieran McKenna and Joe Sheehan [Town Women manager] also speaking live on stage on stage at the event.

The Philip Hope-Cobbold Award for Service to the Community for the men's team was sponsored by Ruth Vernon & Robert Turner, with the award for the women's team sponsored by John Fowlers Solicitors.
