"They have a lot of momentum at their club so it will be a tough afternoon but we're looking forward to it"
Conor Chaplin said Town can take plenty of positives from the opening game of the season when they head to Forest Green Rovers this weekend.
The Blues opened the campaign with a 1-1 draw at home to Bolton - Chappers playing his part in the goal as he provided the assist for Lee Evans - while The Green kicked off the new term with a 2-1 win at Bristol Rovers.
"The first game of any season can be a bit tense and nervy," the forward told iFollow Ipswich.
"That was the case in the first 30 minutes or so against Bolton, with the ball not in play as much as we would like. As soon as that was done, though, we showed our identity and were the stronger team.
"I think for everyone it was amazing to be out there again. We had so many fans behind us and we always appreciate their support.
"There were parts of last weekend's game that we were really pleased with, and parts that we want to improve on. It was solid foundations for a first game and we need to take that into this weekend as Forest Green are a good side who play with good principles and like to get forward.
