"The first half was quite even but overall it was a good performance"

Christian Walton thought the only thing missing from Town's performance this afternoon was a goal.

The Blues, backed by 6,850 travelling supporters, drew 0-0 at Stadium MK in what was a closely-fought contest.

Shutout at Stadium MK means Kieran McKenna's side have now gone three games without conceding a goal.

"The first half was quite even but overall it was a good performance," Christian told iFollow Ipswich.

"Second half we were on top and played on the front foot. I think the only thing missing was the goal, which is disappointing as we would have loved to have scored in front of those travelling fans.

"I had to be alert at times, particularly late on to save the Scott Twine free-kick, and I'm really pleased we kept another clean sheet.

"The lads are doing really well at the moment and I am enjoying playing my part. We are working on defensive shape a lot in training and it is showing. We all do our individual jobs and it has a good effect on the collective group.

"Overall I think it was a positive performance and we can't thank the supporters enough for their effort. Their support this afternoon was incredible and we are all very grateful for it."
