"They play good stuff and we play football the right way as well"

Conor Chaplin says that Town's home fixture with MK Dons was a good spectacle to watch, and he expects a similarly entertaining rematch at Stadium MK tomorrow.

The left-footed forward watched from the stands when the Blues hosted Saturday's opponents back in August, a 2-2 draw in which Macauley Bonne netted a brace.

Alongside the four goals, the game had plenty to offer for the neutrals as the two sides looked to play an entertaining brand of football.

"It was a good game and a good spectacle," Conor reflected on Town's last meeting with the Dons.

"Fingers crossed, it can be a good footballing game. They play good stuff and we play football the right way as well. I think it’ll be a really good footballing game so I’m really excited for it."

MK and Town sit fourth and fifth respectively in the League One form table going into Saturday's game, with both sides holding aspirations of promotion this term.

"It’s exactly the same outcome if you win so there’s no extra thought going into that," Conor continued.

"Those games are definitely more exciting but if it is a headline win, it’s three points - exactly the same as winning away at Doncaster or at home to Gillingham.

"Everyone is excited for it and everyone is raring to go. Hopefully it’s a good game, especially with a good crowd there as well."
