Blow for Kyle while Lee returns
Kyle Edwards will be out for 'a fair chunk of time' after picking up a quad injury in training this week, Kieran McKenna has confirmed.
The 24-year-old, who last featured from the bench in Town's home game against Gillingham earlier this month, is set for an as-yet-unknown period on the sidelines.
"We had an injury during the week for Kyle Edwards to his quad," said Kieran.
"He is going to see a specialist. It’s going to leave him out for a fair chunk of time unfortunately but I’m not sure on the time periods just yet.
"It will certainly be towards the back end of the season before we see him again."
Lee Evans, however, will be back available for tomorrow's game against Burton Albion at Portman Road, having missed last weekend's goalless draw at MK Dons.
"Lee's been in over the last few days and he’s back as part of the squad," Kieran continued.
"He’s an important player for us and is part of the group that are available for the game tomorrow."
