"We need to improve on some things from Saturday, and go up there to try and get the three points"

Kieran McKenna says that he has a full Town squad at his disposal ahead of tonight's away fixture at Doncaster.

The Blues will be looking to make it back-to-back successes in League One at Eco-Power Stadium, having returned to winning ways against Gillingham on Saturday.

Town's boss believes that his players are becoming more physically robust ahead of the first of two away trips this week.

"It's the first week in a long time where we have everyone available," confirmed Kieran.

"We had a really hard training week last week but everybody came through it, so physically I think we're getting better. The squad is getting fitter and more robust.

"We have good players who were on the bench or not in the squad on Saturday so I'm sure that whatever team we pick will be strong, and willing and ready to fight for the three points at Doncaster.

This evening's hosts currently sit bottom of the table although picked up an impressive 2-1 victory at Sunderland on Saturday, two weeks on from also winning at promotion-chasing MK Dons.

"It was a big result for them on Saturday," Kieran continued.

"I’ve watched quite a lot of their games. I’ve seen a lot of their games where they have played quite well and played good football. They’ve played well in a lot of them but they just hadn’t been getting the results.

"I’m sure they will take confidence from going away and beating Sunderland. We need to worry about ourselves, though. We need to improve on some things from Saturday, and go up there to try and get the three points."
