"At the end of the day both teams will be fighting for the win, so it's about which team can find a way to be most effective in the game"
Kieran McKenna said Town will travel to MK Dons on Saturday with the aim of imposing their style on the match.
This weekend's clash sees two sides that like to have the majority of possession go head to head, with the Blues enjoying a particularly impressive 68% of the ball in Tuesday's 1-0 win over Doncaster.
Similarly, MK Dons had 62% of the ball as they drew 1-1 at Fleetwood last time out.
"There are some similarities in the style of play," Kieran said.
"They’re a team who like to move the ball and build up from the back. They play in quite a brave way.
"But for me it’s not about a competition to see who is going to have more of the ball on Saturday, it’s going to be a competition to see who scores the most goals.
“So we want to impose our style and we feel that the best way to score goals will be by playing our football, but I’m sure they’ll be thinking the same.
