"We’re not looking too far ahead to Tuesday at the moment...We have to take care of this one first"

Kieron McKenna says that Town's full focus is on Saturday's test against Burton ahead of back-to-back home games in the coming days.

The Blues have won all three of their Portman Road outings under Kieran, picking up maximum points against Wycombe, Accrington and Gillingham respectively.

Following successive away fixtures at Doncaster and MK Dons, tomorrow's Burton match is followed up by Cheltenham travelling to Suffolk in midweek.

"Anytime you have a Saturday-Tuesday, certainly with both of them being at home, it’s an opportunity for six points," Town's boss told iFollow Ipswich. "You know that not every team is going to get them.

"If you can be that team that can win both games then you know you’ll be in a better position at the end of that four-day period.

"We’re not looking too far ahead to Tuesday at the moment, though. We’re not thinking about it as a two-game block in four days as it’s very much all eyes on Burton. We have to take care of this one first.

"We know it’s going to be a difficult game. We’ll do everything we can on Saturday to get the three points, then hopefully if we manage to do that, it will be nice to have a game coming around in quick succession after that."

Tickets for Town's upcoming fixtures remain on sale here.
