James Norwood has been named as the PFA Vertu Motors Fans' Player of the Month in League One for December.
The striker, who was also voted by Town fans as the Club's Player of the Month, beat off competition from Gavin Bazunu, Conor Ogilvie, Ross Stewart, Matty Taylor and Dan Udoh to win the gong.
Nors scored in three successive games during last month and went on to make it four from four when he found the back of the net in Saturday's 4-0 victory at Gillingham.
"I’ve waited for my opportunity to show what I can do and this past month I’ve been given that," he told the Club website.
"My minutes to goal ratio has always been good here, and I’m pleased I carried that on in December. They were different goals as the one at Wigan was a second ball, then a header against Sunderland and a fortunate one against Wycombe, although I still had to be in the right place at the right time.
"You can’t fault the service as well, particularly in our last couple of games. We look a threat all over the pitch at the moment.
"I’ve formed a good partnership with Macca and we enjoy playing together. We’re similar players but we also offer different qualities, and things have been working well.
