"They got one over on us when we played them at home so we owe them one"
Janoi Donacien admits that, despite approaching today's game like he would any other, the nature of the Blues' home defeat against Bolton adds further motivation ahead of this afternoon's clash.
Bolton came from behind to run out as 5-2 winners at Portman Road back in September, with the right-back featuring from the bench on that day.
Both sides' form has changed in the months since, with Town coming into the game on the back of successive wins while the Trotters have lost each of their last four outings.
Janoi reflected on what the players need to carry into the trip to University of Bolton Stadium from last Saturday's 4-0 victory at Gillingham, as well as the reverse fixture earlier in the season.
"We approach it like we approach every other game but we know how much we want to win because they did beat us badly at our place," the 28-year-old told the Club website.
"They got one over on us when we played them at home so we owe them one. We’re going to go up there and we’re going to try and get the win.
"I thought we played really well at Gillingham and we scored some of the best goals that I’ve probably seen; the build-up play from the back and the movement from the middle, and then the finishes as well. Every time we keep a clean sheet it’s a good day for us, too.
"If we go into it in the same way that we went into the Gillingham game then I think we’ll be fine."
