Midfielder moves on after three-and-a-half-years at Portman Road

The Club and Jon Nolan have agreed the mutual termination of his contract.

Jon’s contract was due to expire in the summer but, following discussions between the Blues and the midfielder, he is now free to find a new club.

The 29-year-old signed at Portman Road in the summer of 2018 from Shrewsbury, making his debut in August of that year away at Rotherham.

He went on to make a further 69 appearances for Town across all competitions, finding the back of the net on 10 occasions.

Jon’s last first-team appearance came in January 2021, with the midfielder being an unused substitute once this season when the Blues hosted West Ham U21 in the Papa John's Trophy back in September.

We would like to thank Jon for his efforts while at the Club and wish him all the best for the future.
