KIERAN ON TRANSFER WINDOW

13 January 2022

"There have been conversations with different players over the last week or so"

Kieran McKenna said he is happy with the squad at his disposal at Town, although didn't rule out potential arrivals and depatures at the Club in the January transfer window.

Town are yet to bring anyone in this month, with the return of Louie Barry to Aston Villa following a loan spell at Portman Road the only departure to date.

"There have been conversations with different players over the last week or so," the Blues boss told iFollow Ipswich.

"Those will remain private of course, until there is anything official to announce either way.

"We're happy with the squad we have because we have good numbers, good quality, and good cover in a variety of positions.

"We don't want to settle, though, as we want to set ourselves up for the remainder of the season as best we can.

"There is often movement in the January transfer window and a lot of the time it comes late. In terms of players coming in or going, we'll see how the next couple of weeks go.

"Our focus at the moment is on getting each day right, and going to Bolton to try and win. After that, we'll see what comes."
