"You don't get anything for free against Accrington"

Town boss Kieran McKenna said his side know what to expect when Accrington Stanley visit Portman Road tomorrow.

John Coleman's team are unbeaten in their last five matches, drawing the last three.

The Blues, meanwhile, will be looking to bounce back from defeat at Bolton last time out, although did win the two fixtures before that - against Wycombe and Gillingham respectively.

"I think you know what you're going to get with Accrington," Kieran said.

"They're a competitive team and they work very hard. The manager is very experienced and has done a fantastic job as well.

"They are on a good run and have played some strong teams and avoided defeat in the last five. In some of those games they have had 10 men for part of the game and still not lost.

"We know what to expect. You don't get anything for free against Accrington. They make you work for it.

"We want a good performance and we want the attitude and effort to be at the top level. If we do those things then we give ourselves a chance as Accrington will do everything they can to make it a tough game.

"Home form is very important and the crowd will be right behind us. The two games I have seen [Sunderland from the stands and Wycombe in the dugout] have been brilliant and the lads have enjoyed the responsibility of trying to send the supporters home happy with the result and performance.

"We want Portman Road to be a place that is difficult for all teams to come, and a stadium that we really enjoy playing in."
