"They’re an industry leader in their field and will play a big part in our matchday production"
Town have agreed a new partnership with leading digital supplier Adi.tv.
The British-based firm brings with them a 30-year pedigree in LED technologies, event production and creative content services.
The installation of LED advertising boards and the big screen in the South-East corner of Portman Road will be operational for the opening game of the season against Bolton.
Liverpool, Everton, Leeds United and Aston Villa are amongst the many English clubs that Adi currently work with, they also own and operate a nationwide fibre network used to manage the digital matchday operations for 34 clubs, including Bayern Munich and the London Stadium.
Town CEO, Mark Ashton, told the Club website: "As supporters will be aware, we have been working hard on various improvements to Portman Road over the off-season.
"To have Adi on board is magnificent for us. They’re an industry leader in their field and will play a big part in our matchday production."
Due to the ongoing building works in the South-East corner, a small number of season ticket holders will be unable to sit in their seats for the Bolton match.
Season ticket holders who are affected by the disruption will be contacted directly by the Club in the coming days with alternative seat options as well as a goodwill gesture.
"As ever, the safety of our supporters has to come first," Town CEO continued.
"I apologise to those affected and would like to ensure them that this will only be the case for the first game of the season."
The Club will be updating supporters next week with a full rundown of all the stadium improvements made during the off-season.
