One absentee for Trotters test
Dom Ball will not be available for tomorrow's Bolton game, Kieran McKenna has confirmed.
The versatile 26-year-old missed Town's last two pre-season friendlies, away at Millwall and at home against Southend, with a knock and will also be absent for the Blues' 2022/23 opener.
Everyone else is fit for selection, including left-back Leif Davis, who joined the Blues from Leeds United earlier this week.
"Dom is not available for tomorrow," said Kieran. "He’ll hopefully return to the grass with the group next week.
"Dom needs a little bit more time but everyone else is available. Leif is ready to make an impact straight away.
"He looks fit and he’s played in four of Leeds’ pre-season friendlies already. He’s fit, ready and available for selection."
George Edmundson, Lee Evans and Kayden Jackson have all featured throughout pre-season after overcoming their respective injuries which ruled them out of the end of last campaign.
Kyle Edwards, meanwhile, started Tuesday's fixture against Southend having picked up a minor injury during the summer.
Kieran continued: "Those three [George, Lee and Kayden] are all important players and we’re really happy to have them back. I feel like they’re up to speed.
"George and Kayden joined the main group a little bit later but they’ve completed the same volume of work for the last six weeks, and they’ve contributed in friendlies as well.
"Kyle is the one who is a little bit different as he picked up a little injury within pre-season as well."
