Defender to spend 2022/23 campaign in Kent
Elkan Baggott has joined League Two side Gillingham on a season-long loan.
The defender, who penned a new three-year deal at Town last month, will spend the 2022/23 campaign in Kent with the aim of picking up regular minutes with Neil Harris’ side.
Elkan, who has also represented Indonesia on 10 occasions in his young career so far, made his debut for the Blues against the Gills in October 2020 and followed that up with two league appearances in the final month of last term.
The 19-year-old could make his competitive debut for Gillingham in their first game of the new campaign away at AFC Wimbledon on Saturday, 30 July.
We wish Elkan the best of luck during his time at MEMS Priestfield Stadium.
