Tour logo to don the Blues’ front of shirts for 2022/23 campaign
Music icon and Town fan Ed Sheeran will continue his shirt sponsorship of the Blues’ men’s and women’s first-teams for the 2022/23 season.
After committing to a one-year deal last summer, the era-defining artist, who has achieved 13 UK Number 1 singles to date, has agreed to another campaign as shirt sponsor with the Club.
Ed’s Mathematics Tour logo, which appeared on the strips for the 2021/22 season, will again don the front of both the home and away shirts next term.
Last season saw the Club sell more home shirts than it has done in 15 years, including more than double the number that were sold for the 2020/21 campaign.
On the continuation of his sponsorship, Ed told the Club website:
“I am delighted to be sponsoring Ipswich Town for another season.
“The Club and the local community mean a lot to me, and I always try to get back to Portman Road whenever I’m back in Suffolk. See you next season.”
Town CEO Mark Ashton added: “It is fantastic that Ed has agreed to continue his sponsorship of the first-team shirts.
“Ed is a passionate fan of the Club and the community of Suffolk. We will continue to work with him and his team to build what is already a strong and exciting relationship.
“We are grateful for his continued support, and we look forward to welcoming him to Portman Road again soon.”
Rosie Richardson, Director of Sales at the Club, also said: “We are absolutely delighted that Ed has agreed to continue sponsoring the home and away shirts next season.
“We are excited to see what the future holds, and we are thrilled to continue the collaboration.”
