Four fixtures locked in for Sheehan's side

Town Women will begin their pre-season with a trip to Plough Lane to face AFC Wimbledon on 16 July.

The clash in South West London will follow on from the men's team facing AFC Wimbledon at 2.30pm, as Kieran McKenna and Joe Sheehan's side take part in a double header against Dons that afternoon.

Kick-off for the Tractor Girls at Plough Lane will be roughly 4.45pm.

Sheehan's side return home to Suffolk a week later, as Cambridge United make the trip to Dellwood Avenue for the first of back-to-back home friendlies.

The Blues conclude July by hosting Barclay's Women's Championship side Charlton Athletic, who finished fifth in the second tier last season. Town were due to face another Championship side away from home on 7 August but, following a cancellation, discussions remain ongoing with other clubs to find a potential replacement fixture.

The Tractor Girls will finish their preparations for the new campaign with an away game at Wolves on 14 August.

Town return to pre-season training on Monday, 4 July.
