"We’ll do our best and hopefully we can be there at the end of the season"

Bersant Celina says that he is excited to be part of a Town side who are in the hunt for the play-off places.

The Blues go into Saturday's game at fourth-placed Oxford sitting six points adrift of the top six with eight games left to play.

Santi says that he and his teammates still believe that Town can work their way back into the play-off picture come the end of the season.

"We’re definitely confident and we believe in ourselves," said the Kosovan.

"We know we have to win a lot of games but we also know that other teams will probably drop points. We’ll do our best and hopefully we can be there at the end of the season.

"We’ve been working well and we are playing really well right now. We definitely believe we can do it and it’s exciting.

"I just want this club to get promoted. If it doesn’t happen this season, with the manager we have now I think we’ll do it next season."

Santi has started six out of the last nine games, featuring from the bench in the other three and finding the back of the net against Burton last month.

Asked if he is showing his best form in a Town shirt, the 25-year-old added: "It’s turning out to be. I just need to score a bit more. I’m playing well in myself but I know I can do better.

"There’s eight games left. There’s room for me to do something and I will do my best to help the team."
