"They’re going well just like us"

Conor Chaplin says Saturday's fixture between Town and Portsmouth should make for a good spectacle, with both sides bang in form ahead of the clash at Portman Road.

The Blues are unbeaten in eight games, and haven't lost at home in the league since November, while Pompey have avoided defeat in seven straight matches, winning seven of those.

Portsmouth, who occupy 10th position in the League One table, sit one place and two points behind Town heading into the weekend.

"They’re playing really well," Chappers said.

"I still follow a lot of Portsmouth pages and journalists and they’re on strong form.

"They’re on an unbeaten run and they’ve won six out of seven I think. They’re going well just like us.

"I think it’s going to be a really good game. I expect them to play with confidence and energy, and, just like our fans on away days, their supporters travel in good numbers so it should be a cracking atmosphere."

"The mood in the camp is good, and everyone is excited for Saturday's test."

Tickets for tomorrow's game, which kicks off at 3pm, remain on sale here.
