CHAPPERS ON PILGRIMS CLASH

24 March 2022

"We're fully focused and we will pick ourselves up and get going again"

Conor Chaplin says the Town squad will take the positives from last week's performance against Oxford into Saturday's visit of Plymouth.

The Blues host an in-form Argyle side, with the Pilgrims having won their last six games, conceding no goals in the process.

Town, though, are unbeaten in the last 10 and haven't lost at home in the league since November.

“I thought we were brilliant in the second half at Oxford," Chappers said.

"We controlled the game and penetrated a lot more. We were aggressive and played on the front foot.

"There was disappointment after the game but we can't dwell on it. You need to get over it and concentrate on the upcoming match - that's exactly what we have done.

"The support was amazing at Oxford, and I know there will be a strong backing for us this weekend as well. We're fully focused and we will pick ourselves up and get going again."
