George's surprise visit

George Edmundson visited the Community Trust's adult disability training session at Portman Road, ahead of this Saturday's annual Community Day.

The 24-year-old took part in drills put on for players in the team alongside their coach and Club diability liaison officer, Lee Smith.

At the end of the session, George took questions from the players, signed autographs and posed for photos.

George also visited the Trust's Bluey's Ballers session which is an introductory level of football for boys and girls aged between four and five.

Ahead of Saturday's annual Community Day against Portsmouth, the Club will be showcasing the work the Community Trust undertakes, particularly in the local area.

The Community Trust will be holding a bucket collection outside and inside Portman Road on Saturday, and we're asking supporters to 'bring a pound to the ground' to help ensure that the Community Trust can continue to deliver an innovative range of football and sporting activities, to engage, inspire and develop as many people as possible.
