"I'm really looking forward to meeting Robin in person at the weekend and hopefully we can get the win for him as an early birthday present"
Janoi Donacien surprised Robin, a young Town fan, last week with a video call to celebrate his upcoming birthday.
Robin, who will turn 14 next week, has chronic kidney disease and is currently receiving care from both Great Ormond Street Hospital and Ipswich Hospital.
Alongside his ongoing treatment, he still plays for Coplestonians Leopards U14 team and is a regular supporter of the Blues.
JD virtually met Robin over Zoom before telling him that, as a special birthday treat, Robin and his Coplestonians teammates will receive free tickets from the Club for Saturday's home game against Cambridge.
The defender will also have the chance to say hello face to face at Portman Road ahead of Town's fixture against the U's.
"I loved talking to Robin the other day," Janoi told the Club website. "He's a great kid and is so positive despite the difficult times he's going through.
