BOSS ON PLYMOUTH CLASH

26 March 2022

"We're expecting a good challenge but we are ready for what's coming"

Kieran McKenna says he is expecting a well-organised and well-drilled Plymouth side at Portman Road this afternoon.

The Pilgrims have won their last six, without conceding a goal, but arrive in Suffolk to face a Blues side who are unbeaten in 10 fixtures.

"Plymouth have played roughly the same system for a number of years now, and are very well organised," Kieran told iFollow Ipswich.

"They're used to the system and their roles in the side. They're very well drilled.

"It's easy to watch them and understand why they are not conceding many goals, but they can also put together good patterns of play and be aggressive going forward.

"We're expecting a good challenge but we are ready for what's coming.

"As always, the focus is on us and we need to be ruthless in the big moments."
