Bumper crowd inside and outside of Portman Road

Over 3,600 Town supporters visited the FanZone ahead of the weekend's home fixture with Portsmouth.

Kieran McKenna's side were backed by 23,516 home fans at Portman Road, with a further 1,986 watching Saturday's game from the Pompey end.

Just like with attendances inside the stadium, the number of supporters visiting the FanZone has consistently grown during the 2021/22 campaign.

A new FanZone record of 2,971 was set for the first #PackOutPR fixture, which saw Town host Sunderland on Saturday, 18 December in front of a crowd of 29,005.

That record, however, was smashed on Saturday with a total of 3,616 supporters visiting the FanZone. That is comfortably over 2,000 higher than the number of fans who attended ahead of the opening game of the season against Morecambe back in August.

The highest number for a midweek fixture thus far, which also came during the #PackOutPR campaign, saw 2,753 go into the FanZone for Kieran's first game in charge - a 1-0 against Wycombe in late December.

From signing sessions to inflatables and Community Trust activities, the FanZone is the perfect place for supporters of all ages to prepare for a matchday at Portman Road.

Keep an eye on the Club's website and social media channels for more information about what is happening in the FanZone ahead of each home game.
