Home tie for Sheehan's side

Town Women will face Women's Super League side West Ham at home in the quarter-final of the Vitality Women's FA Cup.

Having overcome Southampton in the fifth round on penalties, Joe Sheehan's side will now host The Irons at the Goldstar Ground in Felixstowe.

West Ham entered the competition at the fourth round stage, beating Sheffield United 4-1 at Bramall Lane to advance. They then faced an in-form Reading side in the fifth round, with Dagný Brynjarsdóttir’s strike in extra-time seeing them progress.

Olli Harder's side currently occupy seventh spot in WSL, which is the top division for women's football in the country.

A record crowd of 1,167 watched Town prevail against Saints in the previous round, with another strong attendance expected for the quarter-final clash.

The tie is scheduled to be played on Sunday, 20 March, with kick-off most likely at 2pm.

Ticket details will be released in due course.
