Nors, Ty and Wes up for final award of the season

Supporters can now vote for the Three Eggs Goal of the Month for April.

Three goals have been nominated for the award, with voting open until 10am on Wednesday, 4 May.

Town's first goal of the month, and first selected nominee, was the opener in a 1-1 draw at Shrewsbury on 9 April. James Norwood finished a flowing move through Janoi Donacien and Wes Burns with a deft header in front of the travelling support at Montgomery Waters Meadow.

The other two selected strikes both came in the Blues' final game of the month, and of the 2021/22 season, as Kieran McKenna's side closed out the campaign with a 4-0 triumph over Charlton at Portman Road.

Tyreeq Bakinson gave Town the lead after just seven minutes, finding the top corner with a brilliant side-footed effort from 25 yards after Bersant Celina had teed him up.

Wes Burns doubled the advantage four minutes later, with his finish being the third and final selection for this month's award. The Welshman latched onto an incisive Conor Chaplin pass through Charlton's backline before coolly slotting past the onrushing Nathan Harness with the outside of his right boot.
