Further recognition for Welshman

Wes Burns has been nominated for the PFA Fans' Player of the Year.

The Welshman, who recently signed a new three-year deal with the Club, had a fine first season in Suffolk after arriving from Fleetwood Town last summer for an undisclosed fee.

His latest nomination follows the 27-year-old winning the PFA Vertu Motors Fans' Player of the Month award in League One.

Operating largely from a wing-back position, particularly since the arrival of Blues boss Kieran McKenna, Wes scored 13 goals in all competitions across the 2021/22 campaign.

His efforts saw him named as Town's Player of the Year, Players' Player of the Year and Corporate Sponsors Player of the Year.

Alongside sweeping up at the Club's awards, Wes also featured in the Sky Bet League One Team of the Season.
