Please note: All sale windows will cease at 6am the following day before going back on sale to the next priority window at 10am.
Supporters should note that those who can purchase on the sales date in question, along with those who didn’t purchase the day before can continue to purchase tickets throughout the priority system.
This will be the process ahead of and during each window with sales ceasing at 6am and then beginning again at 10am at the start of the next priority window.
Each priority window will be available for the same length of time. Therefore, those who can purchase on Friday at 10am will be able to purchase up until 6am on the Saturday.
Travel
Coach travel will also go on sale in line with the priority ticket sale windows with prices at £42 for Adults, Seniors/U23 £39 and U19’s £36. Coaches will depart from behind the Sir Bobby Robson stand at 5:00am & will be picking up at Marks Tey en route only for the trip to Plymouth.
Please note we will no longer be issuing physical tickets for coach travel; your confirmation email will act as your proof of purchase and the stewards on the day will be issued a register for those attending to verify your confirmation email and ability to access the coach.
Safe Seating
As standard, the Club will also be operating a ‘Safe Seating’ which will be in located on the front row of all blocks provided.
The Club would like to remind fans that these seats will include older fans, families, those unable to stand for long periods of time and ambulant disabled fans. All Safe Seating tickets can now be purchased online here and will be shown by an orange exclamation mark on the seat. By hovering over a seat, confirmation of that ticket being Safe Seating will be shown.
Disabled supporters and their carers/personal assistants can now purchase tickets through the Club's website, with more information available here.
TICKETS ON SALE
TICKET TOUTING POLICY
Ticket touting information
With tickets expected to be in high demand, supporters are reminded of the Club’s Ticket Touting Policy, introduced earlier this season.
Tickets should only be bought via official channels at tickets.itfc.co.uk or in Planet Blue and should not be advertised for secondary sale, with eligible supporters advised to only purchase if they intend to attend the game in question.
Any supporters seeing tickets for sale outside of official channels are asked to contact touting@itfc.co.uk in order for us to investigate further, while supporters are also reminded that random spot checks of photographic ID are in operation for away fixtures.
Full details regarding the policy, including procedures regarding the cancellation and transfer of tickets, as well as potential sanctions, can be found here and below.
In line with our Ticket Touting Policy, all ticket purchases must be made in the name of those attending. With this, we will now be restricting all ticket purchasers to only be able to purchase the relevant price type applicable to your age. For example, if you are 30 years of age, you will only be able to purchase an ‘Adult’ ticket and not an ‘U23’ ticket. To purchase a ticket of a different price type, you would need to ensure this was assigned to the individual eligible who is of that price type.
Should a game reach general sale, sales per owner will also be limited to one ticket per owner, with that owner needing to purchase the correct price type. If you wish to purchase any more tickets, you will be required to assign those tickets to those in attendance via the ‘Friends and Family’ feature on the website.
In line with this, any supporter looking to collect a ticket or duplicate from the away club in question, will be asked to provide proof of their confirmation email to collect their order. Failure to do so will result in their collection being denied.
Those who have been selected and notified of a random spot check, will need to provide photographic ID evidence to collect their tickets. These supporters will be made aware of this requirement in advance of the fixture, with failure to do so resulting in their collection being denied.
Full ticket touting policy
Under English & Welsh law - The Criminal Justice & Public Order Act 1994 - it is illegal to sell, or to offer to sell, or transfer tickets to matches without the authorisation of the Club, or outside of one of our authorised processes.
The above is commonly referred to as ticket touting, and Ipswich Town is committed to eradicating this issue and will continue to identify and sanction any individuals who are selling tickets at any price or transferring tickets outside of official processes/channels.
The work will include tracking tickets listed on a variety of websites and social media platforms, as well as targeted activity including spot checks at both home and away matches.
Any individuals who are found to have offered their ticket for sale, at any price, will be subject to an internal investigation and sanction process. In some cases, the matter will be reported to the Police for further action. If you have been offered tickets or have any information in relation to tickets being offered outside of authorised channels, please report this to the Club via touting@itfc.co.uk. All information is treated in the strictest confidence and is never disclosed to third parties.
Purchasing tickets to claim Away Priority Points (APP) and then offering these tickets to other supporters is also something Ipswich Town is aware of and wants to eradicate. This is directly against the spirit of the APP system and is unfair to fellow supporters patiently waiting for their eligible sales window to open.
If Ipswich Town find members are participating in this activity, we will act accordingly with the risk of accumulated points being wiped to 0, or worse.
The APP system is designed to reward those fans who make the journey and attend the matches. We urge fans who cannot make an away game to allow other loyal supporters who have the eligibility to purchase a ticket and earn the deserved APP.
AUTHORISED CHANNELS FOR TICKET PURCHASE/DISTRIBUTION
Purchasing Tickets: The only legitimate way to obtain tickets is through the Ipswich Town Ticketing Website or via our commercial team for matchday hospitality. Please note that it is not authorised for any tickets to be sold, or transferred via Twitter, or Facebook, or any other website.
Cancelling or Transferring Tickets: We understand that people’s plans change, and they cannot always attend every game they have purchased tickets for. To give fans more flexibility and choice:
1. If a supporter has purchased tickets for home or away matches, these can usually be cancelled by calling 03330 050503 providing more than 48 hours’ notice is given. Discretion will be exercised for refunds. Please note away tickets will need to be returned to the club prior to any refund being issued, but this enables the ticket office to attempt to resell the ticket via official channels.
2. If a Season Ticket holder cannot attend a home fixture they can,
a) Donate their ticket to the Club which will be issued to the Ipswich Town Foundation to offer to a participant on their programmes.
b) Issue their ticket to family or friends as long as they match the price type of the ticket. An upgrade fee can be paid if these do not match. To do this, call the ticket office on 03330 05 05 03.
