The Club can today reveal the new Umbro home and away kits to be worn for the 2024/25 season.
The two kits are now available to purchase, both in the Planet Blue store at Portman Road and online here.
The home shirt represents the pride both players and supporters feel for Town. Players are proud to play for the Club and this is shown by bringing the badge out of the shirt and highlighting the crest with a shield surround. In line with Umbro’s 100-year anniversary, the shirt has a heritage feel with the original Umbro diamond utilising a red centre, balanced nicely with the red in the Town crest.
White pinstripes are incorporated into the home shirt for the first time in almost 10 years and a navy trim on the sleeves gives the shirt a clean look. The kit is complete with white shorts and blue socks.
Meanwhile, the away shirt represents pride in the town, and how the Club’s success positively impacts the whole of Ipswich. The town centre, along with bars, coffee shops and restaurants are full on matchdays, with almost 30,000 supporters then making their way to Portman Road. This is shown on the shirt by highlighting the stadium full of fans. Small portions of supporters waving flags have been captured to create a unique print and graphic that runs through the shirt. The tonal gold crest, Umbro diamond and sponsor give the shirt a proud finish and contrast nicely to the maroon base.
2024 is also the year Umbro celebrates its 100th anniversary with a special kit design, the diamond grid. It seamlessly blends progressive design with the heritage of the brand and the Club – a true collaboration which celebrates Umbro's history and tells the Club’s story.
A navy trim, just like on the home shirt, connects the two strips. The away kit is complete with maroon shorts and socks, both of which incorporate the navy trim.
As well as a full range of men’s, women’s and youth sizes, children’s mini kits are also now on sale.
Sizes range from S through to 6XL for adults and size 8 through to 18 in the women’s fit.
Planet Blue will be open from 10.30am until 5pm on Saturday, 6 July then from 10am until 4pm on Sunday, 7 July before normal opening hours resume on Monday, 8 July.
The new home and away kits can be ordered online here, with Premier League sleeve badges and personalisation available.
Shirt printing with names from the Men’s and Women’s teams will not be available until the Club has announced squad numbers for the 2024/25 season.
