Kieran McKenna says that Wes Burns, George Hirst and Nathan Broadhead are all making good progress in the rehabilitation from their respective injuries.

The Town Boss explained that the group is looking really healthy, with no new injury concerns from the 11 players who have recently been out on international duty.

He told TownTV: “Everyone has come back well and there are no new injuries from the boys who have been away. Those who have been with us have worked really well too.

“We have also integrated some of the boys who were injured over the break as well, so the group is looking really healthy which is really pleasing.

“Maybe a month ago we were feeling really short and now thankfully Wes Burns and George Hirst have trained fully with the group this week.

“Nathan Broadhead has also trained with the group this week, and Harry Clarke joined in a little bit today as well. I think we had almost everyone out on the grass today which is a big positive.

“It's a great place to be and everyone’s going to be important in the months ahead.”
