Town U21s, who were looking to bounce back from their Premier League Cup exit, drew 0-0 away to Swansea City in the Professional Development League.
It was a slow start to the first half in Wales, with the first real chance coming 19 minutes in. Maliq Cadogan's close range effort was saved well by young Blues ‘keeper Woody Williamson.
Seven minutes from half-time and the Swans looked close to going in front. Ben Lloyd's strike from inside the area was blocked well before the rebound was fired over the top.
Six minutes into the second half and Town’s Tommy Taylor managed to test the Swansea defence but only to be blocked by Iestyn Jones.
With 57 on the clock, Thomas Woodward's curling effort forced an excellent diving stop from Williamson to keep the scores level.
With the last chance of the game, Jamie Mauge's strike forced Kit Margetson into a great save as it ended in stalemate.
