Kieran McKenna says some late calls will be made ahead of Town's Premier League away fixture against Everton this weekend.

The Blues travel to Goodison Park on Saturday afternoon, with both Leif Davis and Ben Johnson unavailable through suspension and a number of other first-team players missing through injury.

"I'm not going to go through all of the players individually but last week we said we were in a difficult spot and it's a similar situation for this game," the Town Manager said.

"We've had some big challenges over the last few weeks in particular and the boys are competing as well as they can. Of course, with a couple of suspensions, that makes things more difficult.

"It's been a case of trying to get a group out there that can compete. We have some players that are close and over the next couple of weeks we'll see some players return and we'll be in a stronger position.

"This week, in terms of availability, it will be a close call on quite a few and we'll see where we're at ahead of the weekend. We're going to make a late judgement call on them all.

"Those that are fit have had a good couple of days on the training pitch and we're all looking forward to the game as it's a really good one to be involved in."
