David Martin joined Town following the club’s promotion to the Premier League in 2024.

His role at the Blues will see him assist Head of Goalkeeping Rene Gilmartin in supporting goalkeeper development throughout the Academy pathway.

David represented MK Dons, West Ham United, Southend United and other clubs between the sticks during his career.

David’s role at Town sees him help with training, scouting and recruitment, and monitoring the club’s shot-stoppers who are on loan at other clubs.

A former teammate of Ben Johnson at the London Stadium, David is a positive presence around Playford Road and trains with the first-team group when required.
